Sales in Paris ? Yes, where?

We are no longer counting the number of shops in Paris. From big to small. Here is our selection to shop during the sales.

A few steps away from our Aparthotel, department stores are a must to stroll and admire beautiful pieces. During the sales, brands brake the old collections. There are always great savings.

Go to the Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps.

Another emblematic department store in Paris, Le Bon Marché is located in the 7th arrondissement. It is considered as the luxury department store on the left bank. Take the opportunity to do a short detour to La Grande Épicerie to discover a wide variety of quality culinary products from many countries of the world.

Take a walk toward the Seine, in the heart of St Germain-des-Pres, you can discover the boutiques of great designers: Giorgio Armani, Sonia Rykiel, Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld ...

While crossing the Seine, make a small hook by the district of Le Marais. One of the most typical districts of Paris. Fashion shops such as The Kooples, Maje, Sandro, Eleven Paris and small boutiques mingle with major brands such as Uniqlo, Muji ... You will also find a wide range of perfume and body care shops.

Paris’ Covered Passages

Want an original walk, out of time and away from noisy streets or rushing people? Discover Paris’ historic covered arcades - locally known as “passages or galleries”.

Built in 19th century, the still accessible passages today have become real jewels of the Parisian heritage, and are classified as Historic monuments. Mostly shopping arcades now, they are beautifully decorated with mosaic floors, cast iron gates, marble pillars, ornate clocks and are covered with glass roofs which diffuse a dreamy zenithal light.

From the Appart Hotel Cosy Cadet, the almost unbroken chain of covered passages (Verdeau, des Panorama, Jouffroy) and of galleries (Colbert, Vivienne) forms a charming path that will take you to the doors of the Musée du Louvre.

  • Here are our favourite arcades:
  • Passage Verdeau - Paris 9 - Metro: Station Grands Boulevards - Lines 8 et 9
  • Passage Brady - Paris 10 - Metro: Station Strasbourg St-Denis - Line 4
  • Passage du Prado - Paris 10 - Metro: Station Strasbourg St-Denis - Line 4
